At Wood County Title Company, we bring professionalism, expertise, and a personal touch to every title service we provide. Located in the heart of Mineola, Texas, we are proud to serve East Texas with integrity and dedication.
Our History
In 1962, after graduating from the University of Texas School of Law, Ivan Alexander, Jr. opened a private practice in Emory, Texas. This marked the beginning of a legacy intertwined with real estate. A year later, his passion led him to lease and eventually purchase Elliott & Waldron Abstract & Title Company in Van Zandt County, as well as Rains County Abstract & Title Company.

Mr. Alexander’s vision and commitment to excellence became a family tradition. His sons, George Ivan Alexander and Philip D. Alexander, followed in his footsteps, earning law degrees and joining the family business. They expanded operations by acquiring Wood County Title, extending their exceptional services to a new community.
